Uninstall Symantec Corporate Client Without A Password

This is very useful if you have forgotten or do not know the Symantec password and you need to uninstall the product.

Open the registry editor [regedit]

Go to the following registry key

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\INTEL\LANDesk\VirusProtect6\CurrentVersion\AdministratorOnly\Security

Change the value for useVPuninstallpassword from a 1 to a 0

Exit the registry editor and proceed to uninstall the Symantec Client
